Business Spotlight: Skunk Brothers Spirits, Inc.
I don’t drink alcohol much, but when I do, I prefer quality over quantity. I see it as a treat and as such, I like to savor the experience as much as possible. Now, I’ve had some great drinks in my day, but the spirits this week’s business spotlight have crafted are simply amazing.
Who Are Skunk Brothers Spirts, Inc. and What Do They Do?
If you’re a fan of unique, high-quality spirits like me, then you need to try Skunk Brothers Sprirts. Not only do they have some of the best spirits which include brandy, whiskey, and bourbon, there’s history behind what they do.
Skunk Brothers Spirits is a family-run craft distillery in Washington started by family members Scott and Jamie Donoho. They take their inspiration directly from their grandfather’s prohibition-era moonshine recipe. These guys have been doing this for years and have perfected what they do.
Skunk Brothers Spirits only uses high-quality, locally grown ingredients from the Pacific Northwest to create their amazing spirits.
Currently they offer:
• Smoke Jumper Bourbon: a sweet and smoky bourbon with notes of toffee, vanilla, earthy peat, light ginger, and a touch of white pepper
• Apple Pie Brandy: a unique apple brandy blended with Washington apple cider, honey, brown sugar, cinnamon, clove, and more
• Cinnamon Corn Whiskey: a spicy, sweet cinnamon corn whiskey with a smooth, tangy finish
• Moonshine Corn Whiskey: a classic, hand-crafted moonshine whiskey with a buttery sweet flavor
And that’s just a start! They plan to put the Skunk Brothers twist on some other classic spirits such as gin, vodka, and seasonal fruit brandies.
But Skunk Brothers Spirits doesn’t just sell spirits. They crate Barrel Club which comes with a variety of benefits including a 3-year membership to tasting rooms, free tastings, personal recognition, and even the opportunity to cook your own batch of bourbon!
