We live in a digital age where everything is connected more than it ever has been. And that’s especially helpful when you want to work with someone from a different part of the world or when you aren’t able to leave your home. There are a variety of online communities out there that can connect like-minded people who support and encourage one another. One such community is this week’s business spotlight: Hive.
As an entrepreneur myself, I feel like is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to connect with like-minded people. Hive allows leaders and entrepreneurs to not only network and enhance their personal development, but support other entrepreneurs as well. I think this is an amazing tool that I wish I had when I was starting out.
Hive was founded by Ryan Allis and now has a community of over 3,200 members in 130 countries! That’s pretty impressive! But more impressive is what Hive can do. Members can connect and find each other by location, industry, or area of interest using an online directory, map, live feed, and event listing. Hive even has a mobile app that allows members to find, then reach out and talk to other members anywhere in the world.
And these digital tools are just the beginning. The Hive community has city ambassadors and with their help more than 100 events have been held in 14 countries. There’s also weekly master classes and monthly masterminds through Zoom, and every August they hold Hive Global Summit with attendees from over 50 countries!
If you’re an entrepreneur, Hive is a great resource. Having a community of people that have similar goals and passions can go a long way. When I set out to start my first business, I didn’t have that resource. While the lessons I learned along the way were helpful, having a community I could bounce ideas off of and get feedback from would have been invaluable. Hive can give you that edge.
Whether you’re looking for advice, mentorship, support, or are just looking to network, Hive has it all. If you’re interested in becoming part of Hive you can learn more by clicking here.
